Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Danfoura Law Group P.C. (“we,” “us,” or “the firm”) collects through danfouralaw.com (the “website”), how we use and share it, and how you can ask us to review or correct it.

Information you give us

The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to enter in our contact form. If you submit the form, we receive the information you provide. We do not ask you to create an account or register, and if you do not submit the form we do not collect this information from you.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. When anyone visits the website, Cloudflare’s systems automatically receive standard technical information, such as the visitor’s IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the date and time, and the page that referred the visitor. Cloudflare uses this information to deliver the website and to protect it from attacks and abuse. We do not use it to identify individual visitors or to build profiles of them. Cloudflare’s handling of this information is described in its own privacy policy.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on the website.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, to schedule a consultation.
  • To decide whether we are able to assist you, including checking for conflicts of interest.
  • To operate and secure the website.
  • To comply with the law and our professional obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use information submitted through the website for advertising.

Who receives your information

Contact-form submissions are sent by email to authorized personnel at the firm, who review them and respond. To deliver your submission, the website relies on service providers (and their subcontractors) that handle it on our behalf: Cloudflare, which hosts the website and processes the form, and an email-delivery service (Resend), which carries the message to the firm’s email system. These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us, except that they may keep limited technical records, such as email delivery logs, for their own security and operations, as described in their privacy policies. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or with your consent.

Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship

Sending a message through the website does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not include confidential or time-sensitive information in any contact form message you send us, because web forms and email cannot be guaranteed secure. If your matter is urgent, please call us at (415) 970-8012.

Questions and requests about your information

If you would like to review or correct the information you submitted, or have any request to delete it, please contact us by calling (415) 970-8012; by writing to Danfoura Law Group P.C., 800 Airport Blvd, Suite 311, Burlingame, CA 94010-1911; by emailing admin@danfouralaw.com; or by submitting another message through our contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to our legal and professional record-keeping obligations.

Cookies and “Do Not Track” signals

The website does not use cookies to track you, and we do not track visitors across other websites or over time. Because we do not track visitors, we do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” or similar browser signals: every visitor is treated the same way. If we ever add analytics or other tracking tools, we will update this policy first.

Links to other websites

The website links to other sites, such as Google Maps for directions to our office. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Minors

The website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we receive against unauthorized access, loss or destruction. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
